Bellini Yacht – the business unit dedicated to the production of luxury yachts between 36 to 70 feet and part of Bellini Group – proudly announces the launch of the new Astor 38 – a yacht that embodies a racing spirit, bespoke craftsmanship, state-of-the art marine engineering and the Group’s heritage and passion.
Originally conceived as the first expression of a new model, the one-off Astor 38 PISTA—crafted for an Italian professional racing driver—will now evolve into the fully developed series model Astor 38, available from September 2026, to discerning weekender enthusiasts.
The story of the Astor 38 PISTA began when Francesco Castellacci, an internationally recognized figure in the world of motorsports, approached Bellini Yacht with a clear vision: a yacht that could translate the adrenaline, precision, and control of racing into a marine experience. The shipyard was already envisioning a new model, and this convergence of ideas sparked a one-off collaboration that surpassed all expectations, blending the racing DNA with Bellini Yacht’s original value of rational essence .
“The ASTOR 38 PISTA was born from a direct dialogue with Bellini Yacht and their customization atelier. What struck me – declares Francesco Castellacci – was the extremely tailored approach to the project: it’s not just about choosing a boat, but building it together, detail by detail. It was a project where I was able to bring elements of my world, that of racing, into a different yet equally technical and refined context. The result is something that fully represents me. The reference to the colors of my Ferrari LMGT3 Evo makes it even more personal, like a direct link between the track and the sea.”
The yacht features a vivid metallic silver and red finish, a teak deck, and custom graphics enriched by the “PISTA” signature, all developed with a visual language inspired by the world of racing. The seat shells and carbon fiber details echo the aesthetics of high performance cockpits. The steering wheel with a red central insert offers a clear nod to sports cars. The seats feature a fully custom pattern, inspired by the iconic Ferrari Daytona upholstery. Functional yellow markers highlight all moving elements, such as the bow anchor and the aft opening sunpad. The custom windshield frame in “Giallo Modena” adds a distinctive touch which, together with the red beauty line, completes the chromatic reference to the world of racing machines.

While retaining the dynamic approach of the one-off prototype, the series model enhanced aesthetic elements that distinguishes Bellini Yacht. Designed for owners who demand both adrenaline, elegance, and seek a family experience, the Astor 38 features a hull optimized for stability at high speeds, a cockpit layout inspired by motorsport ergonomics, and a refined interior that balances contemporary design with marine functionality with a twin cabin at aft.
Astor 38 PISTA will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 8th – 13th, 2026).
