With over 60 years of experience in the industry, Bellini Nautica SPA has developed expertise and professionalism in all divisions of the group: restoration, refitting, sales, customer services, and construction. In addition to boat production, Bellini Nautica SPA is actively involved in research and development of sustainable marine technologies. YACHT ADDICT SINCE 1960
In 1960, Battista Bellini, an entrepreneur with a strong passion for the sea and the art of yachting, began in association with Mr Piantoni of Sarnico to build Sebino-branded boats. The first Sebino shed was constructed in Paratico, and it remained in operation until 1962, when Battista Bellini sold the property
In 1962, production of Bellini-branded wooden boats commenced at the old Filanda in Clusane. This resulted in the creation of distinctive and refined models that soon became a hallmark of quality and tradition. Over the years, the shipyard has produced a significant number of boats, each representing a unique chapter in the Bellini brand’s history. Continuous innovation and a commitment to excellence have enabled the introduction of new models, each more advanced and sophisticated than the previous one, meeting the demands of an increasingly discerning clientele.
Production of Bellini boats ceased in 1973, following the onset of serious illness of Battista Bellini. In 1980, the company suPered a significant loss with the passing of its founder, Battista Bellini. At the age of just 16, his son Romano Bellini commenced his professional career
A NEW ERA
At that point, production of Bellini boats was ceased, and the shipyard’s focus was shifted to storage, sales, and restoration. The shipyard underwent a significant expansion, adding four new hangars, a water testing pool, and acquiring specialized expertise in restoration and painting processes.
In 2011, Battista Bellini, nephew of the company’s founder, initiated digitalisation processes, propelling the company into the modern era and opening new avenues for growth and development. In 2019, Bellini Nautica, with Martina Bellini, embarked on extraordinary collaborations with renowned international artists including Britto, Brainwash, and Xavier Casalta, infusing art and creativity into the heart of the brand
