Daniel Arsham x Bellini
Bellini Yacht present ASTOR 36 by Daniel Arsham
The 36-foot model by Bellini Yacht has been reinterpreted through Daniel Arsham’s unmistakable “future archaeology” aesthetic. Essential, clean lines merge with a visionary concept, where nautical design embraces the language of contemporary art.
The result is a yacht with a distinctly contemporary character, also thanks to a meticulously designed color palette: elegant shades of grey and black are complemented by the iconic “Arsham Green,” a unique aqua green hue symbolizing the artist’s poetic vision, skillfully integrated into the hull line, console, hard top, and onboard furnishings.
Regarding the exterior, the limited edition stands out for the custom-designed side air intakes featuring the artist’s logo, a hardtop signed by Arsham Studio, and smoke-colored faux teak surfaces decorated with his monogram. The dry-feel fabric covers the aft sunbed, enriched by a custom plaque, while the helm seats feature Arsham embroidery that echoes the overall aesthetic of the project. The helm console is also notable for the steering wheel with the artist’s logo and a SIMRAD Chartplotter GPS 15 Ultra wide navigation system, with an interface developed in collaboration with Daniel Arsham and Mònade Studio.
The interior is characterized by the use of custom fabrics and color schemes, as well as the presence of two furnishings — a mirror and sink — from the Kohler x Daniel Arsham collection.
Daniel Arsham states:
“My goal was to create something extremely elegant and surprising. In every collaboration, I look for a partner who is willing to give their best and allow me to experiment with new creative elements. I truly found that partner in Bellini.”
Astor 36 by Daniel Arsham also introduces cutting-edge technological innovation in the yachting sector: a Digital Product Passport (DPP) developed in partnership with Arianee, a French company that created the leading DPP solution for durable goods. This digital document, based on blockchain technology and activated via a QR code applied to a card provided upon delivery, will ensure supply chain transparency and track the yacht’s entire lifecycle, recording all key events. It will also enhance the owner’s experience by unlocking exclusive after-sales services.
Daniel Arsham’s iconic works, whose artistic practice spans visual art, architecture, performance, and cinema, blend past, present, and future, highlighting the malleability and power of nostalgia, often through references to moments and objects from the late 20th century. Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the most prestigious brands in the world, including Hublot, Tiffany & Co., and Porsche.
