Bellini Yacht enters the superyacht segment with ETERNAL 36

A new chapter, written in the same ink. The same vision, now reaching further.

With Eternal 36, the first model in a new Bellini Yacht range set to shape the future of the shipyard, the brand brings the values that have defined its identity into the 30 to 50 metre segment. Bellini Yacht’s entry into the steel and aluminium superyacht market does not mark a departure from its past. Rather, it represents the ambition to extend to a new category of yacht the values that have guided the shipyard across three generations, while evolving its approach on a larger scale. At its core is a highly rational vision of yachting, where design, functionality, attention to detail, build quality, design culture and the ability to create yachts conceived to stand the test of time come together in a new balance on a larger scale.

Battista Bellini, CEO of Bellini Yacht Group:

Our entry into the superyacht segment is the result of a clear strategy aimed at delivering and, in this case, accelerating our development and growth plan: to build on Bellini’s heritage of expertise and bring it into a new market segment through distinctive products that remain true to our identity. We wanted to create a platform capable of expressing these principles, combining our manufacturing culture with outstanding expertise from the superyacht industry. Our ambition was not simply to build a new yacht, but to create an entire range, recognisable for its design balance, build quality and attention to the onboard experience. Over the past few years, we have invested in strengthening both the company and the team, bringing together leading professionals from the international yachting industry with a clear objective: to establish Bellini as a globally recognised brand, defined not by volume, but by build quality, design culture and lasting value. Eternal 36 represents another important milestone in this vision and the most authentic expression of what we aim to build for Bellini’s future.

THE TEAM

To establish its Superyacht Division, Bellini Yacht has brought together a team of professionals representing some of the most respected expertise in the international yachting industry. Experience, know-how and vision come together in a project developed through close collaboration across management, project management, naval architecture, engineering and interior design. Behind the project, a team of the most authoritative expertise in international yachting: Francesco Frediani leading the Bellini Superyacht Division, Bellini Yacht technical department with Davide Benaglia, exterior design lead to grant continuity and the brand’s values, Hydro Tec for naval architecture and marine engineering, M²Atelier for interior design and Nicola Yacht Consulting, for the business development, product and project management.

Francesco Frediani, Director of the Bellini Superyacht Division, brings more than thirty years of international experience in the yachting industry and leads the development and management of the new division and its Superyacht range.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new superyacht range whose values, content and design philosophy I deeply share. Eternal 36 marks the starting point of an ambitious journey that brings together tradition, a deeply rooted culture of craftsmanship, innovation and a genuine focus on owners’ needs. Working on this project means turning a vision into something tangible and laying the foundations for Bellini’s future in the superyacht world.

Nicola Nicolai, Managing Partner of Nicolai Yacht Consulting, is responsible for business development, product management and project management for the Bellini Superyacht Division.

Supporting Bellini in setting up its Superyacht Division and developing the range, starting with Eternal 36, has meant translating an ambitious vision into a coherent and competitive industrial project, strategically positioned within the international market. Our approach has gone far beyond project management and technical development. From the outset, it has integrated strategic business consultancy, engineering, and the optimisation of both the product and the production process, with the aim of meeting the highest standards of superyacht construction. What truly sets Eternal 36 apart from other yachts in its segment is the seamless combination of a bespoke, custom-made approach with an exceptionally rational project architecture. We have created a model that combines distinctive design and a revolutionary approach to space with advanced engineering solutions, conceived to maximise both construction efficiency and onboard liveability. Eternal 36 establishes a new benchmark within its segment: a yacht that offers owners tangible, enduring value, conceived to stand the test of time.

Sergio Cutolo, Founder & CEO of Hydro Tec, is responsible for naval architecture and marine engineering.

Bellini’s story began with wood, evolved through fibreglass and now, with Eternal 36, enters the world of steel and aluminium construction. Throughout this transition, Hydro Tec has been able to bring more than thirty years of experience in designing steel and aluminium yachts to a shipyard approaching this construction method for the first time, integrating naval architecture, CFD analysis and structural engineering within a single development process. The hull’s performance, validated through extensive CFD analysis, together with the choice of mixed steel and aluminium construction a first for Bellini required dedicated work to optimise volumes, weight distribution, centre of gravity and acoustic comfort, following a structural approach deeply rooted in Hydro Tec’s design philosophy. It has been an honour to support Bellini throughout this journey, working as part of a team with whom we have shared mutual respect and collaboration for many years. Eternal 36 demonstrates how engineering integrity and an authentic Explorer vocation can coexist in perfect balance: an enduring value that lays the technical foundations for the entire new Bellini Superyacht range.

Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli, founders of M²Atelier, are responsible for the interior design. The interiors interpret the concept of wellbeing through fluid forms, refined materials and a design approach centred around the owner and their guests.

For the ETERNAL 36, m2atelier conceived “Interiors to Touch”: spaces designed not only to be seen, but experienced through the body and the senses. The studio’s interior concept is defined by tactility, soft curves and a continuous spatial flow that brings the exterior language of the yacht inside. Drawing on the quiet precision of Japanese spatial culture—its sense of balance, restraint and considered simplicity — m2atelier translated the movement of the hull into rounded volumes and fluid lines. These elements create a natural dialogue between the yacht’s architecture, its interior spaces and the water beyond. The concept also draws upon Bellini’s heritage and the classic design philosophy that has defined the shipyard for generations. m2atelier emphasized the warm, wooden sensations at the heart of this identity, combining smoked oak, walnut and timber surfaces with pale travertine, light fabrics and soft grey leather. Depth is created through touch, grain and subtle variations in finish rather than decoration.Lighting, acoustics and technology are integrated almost invisibly, allowing the tactile architecture and craftsmanship to remain the focus. The result honors Bellini’s history while expressing it in a new way: contemporary and precise, yet warm, fluid and deeply sensory.

THE PROJECT

Eternal 36 is a 36.13 metres custom explorer yacht, featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, designed for ocean-going navigation and developed as the first model in a new range set to expand in the years ahead.

Eternal 36 combines distinctive design, advanced naval architecture and a vision strongly focused on quality of life on board. RINA-classed and compliant with the Red Ensign Group Yacht Code. The yacht achieves a top speed of 13.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles at an economical speed of 10 knots. Hull performance was developed and validated through extensive CFD (Computational, Fluid and Dynamic) and analysis, allowing optimisation of efficiency, fuel consumption and cruising comfort. Conceived as an authentic explorer yacht with a Mediterranean DNA, Eternal 36 combines structural strength, long-range capability and versatility with a strong focus on the onboard experience. An expansive beach club with an integrated pool and tender garage, extensive glazed surfaces and generously proportioned spaces create a constant connection with the sea. The interiors, developed by M²Atelier, interpret the concept of wellbeing through fluid forms, refined materials and a design approach centred around the owner and their guests.

More than a new model, Eternal 36 is a statement of intent: the first building block of the new Bellini Superyacht range.
